My dolls

Here are some of my dolls, because I wanted somewhere to catalogue and talk about them. I both collect and customize dolls! Most of them are either bootlegs or 2nd hand because new dolls are pretty expensive nowadays in Brazil. Also I love thrifting! So here we go:

Lovecore Lala

She's just a Monsteristas G3 Draculaura that I made custom clothes for. I reused the shoes and bag, just painted them! I got her as a gift from my mom :)

Akane and Aoi

Akane is a little Ddung knockoff that was my first custom ever. Aoi has the same kind of head but her body I bought online. They're little oni. I used a old little polly pocket stand for Akane that I customized with airdry clay. I did the same for Aoi's stand but that one I got from daiso. Akane also has a little kanabō!

Irin

They're my DND character, a drow vermin druid. One of the first customs I started, but I ended up starting over and finishing it years later. She's from an awesome campaing I played that lasted more than 2 years, and I made the whole group with my friend's characters too (following on this list). He has his little pest friends hanging out with him, like Socrates on his shoulder and some bugs on the clothes.There's also little moon sickle acessorie, but it's not in this picture. I used a Yulu #SNAPSTAR body I got off the internet and a knockoff Sofia the first doll head to make them.

Fyra

She's the party's half-elf eloquence bard/wild magic sorcerer! She was the hardest of the four to make for some reason. I think maybe it was because of the hair and the "metal" accessory parts. Also because I had a hard time making the sleek clothes look good with real fabric! I like how she turned out but I might re-do because her neck broke :( I used a Way too wonderland Maddie Hatter I got from a nearby 2nd hand shop to make her.

Ulric

The party's human battle master fighter/redemption paladin! He was the easiest, probably because I didn't have to paint the skin. I might rebody him too because his neck also broke lol. I used a bootleg ken I got off the internet to make him.

Gyr

The party's goliath monster hunter ranger! This was the doll I was most satisfied with, I think it's the best I've ever done. It also took a good while because I had to paint the body more than once bc the paint started to peel? It also required the most materials. But again I really liked how it came out. I used a DC superhero girls Poison Ivy (I think? she was a redhead) that used to belong to my little sister but she had destroyed her clothes and drawn on her face so she gave it to me.

Here's their group picture! I tried to make them height accurate but I couldn't make Gyr taller than Ulric (couldn't find a taller girl doll or a shorter boy doll). I'm happy with the results :)

Selina Mann

Selina is my monster high oc, she's slenderman's daughter bc i thought it'd be funny. I used a hi-glamm Alex doll to make her which I felt guilty about bc they're rare but every customization I did is reversible and she was missing all her clothes when I got her too. I didn't use her original head bc the hair is like in perfect condition, so I just stored it away and used airdry clay to make a head for her. It's not perfect but I liked how it turned out, if not a little frumpy. Here's her character art.

Uligoo Starr and Nostoc

Another monster high oc! She's based off of the concept of star jelly. I originally wanted to customize a CAM Goo girl (because I find the transluscent, glittery skin gorgeous) but I couldn't find it anywhere. My sister gave me her Monsteristas Draculaura that she had wrecked so I decided to customized her instead. I made her shoes with airdry clay and hot glue, and Nostoc was made from a LPS frog!

Naminé

This was an unplanned custom! I was planning to do something else with this doll, but when I got it in my hands I realized It wouldn't work, and I realized it would be easy to do Naminé (from kingdom hearts obv). I used to be super obsessed with her when I was like 10 (idk why, maybe bc she was an artist?).I just made the dress, sculped the sandals with airdry clay and gave her the little bangs, nothing much. I used a Moxie Girlz Avery, one of the budget ones but I'm unsure which one because she was naked when I got her.

Coppelia

She's a bootleg My Scene I got off the internet. I really liked her hair and wanted to make a princess-y character with her. I tried to paint her eyes in the style of Macoto Takahashi (as best as I could lol). I gave her a Sleeping Beauty barbie dress I also got from the internet! Otherwise I just tied some blue bows on her hair and waist.

Yun

Another bootleg ddung (those are super common in shops here). She's mostly as I got her, I just glued some little doodads to her outfit and painted her eyes. I tried to go for a Peropero Sparkles style.

Asha

She's a AA Hula Hair barbie! I call her Asha bc she has the asha facemold :D. I got her 2nd hand from the internet, her hair was tangled and looking bad but actually not really damaged and I could get it back into shape! She wasn't wearing her og clothes so I tried to make some custom ones (except the jeans, which she came with). I tried to go for a beach gyaru look but idk if I succeded lol. I used watercolor pencils to make some makeup on her face which could be removed easily if I wanted to, because her og faceup is so pretty I didn't want to fuck it up with my sloppy paint work. I made some little platforms/wedges for her which I'm pretty happy with even though they're not perfect!

Spica

A little alien/robot I made to cope with my mighty need to get my hands on a barbie spectra/tonka aurora doll. They were a NaNaNa Surprise Michael Manchester that my sister too destroyed and gave to me. The cloth cover was all fucked and drawn on and they were bald, so I peeled them(lol). The clothes were pretty low effort (just some ribbons and celophane I glued) and the hair wasn't too hard to make but I had a hard time deciding what it would be and tried some other things before I settled on the pastel yarn.

Colette

She's a fakie blythe doll my grandma got me as a gift. I just bought her clothes on the internet. I just did some makeup on her and customized the eye drawstring, but she's mostly as I got her. Her hair is soo soft.

Malie Tasker

A kind of beat up Novi Stars Malie Tasker I got 2nd hand on the internet. I made her some clothes with ribbons again bc didn't want to sew, except the skirt that she came with, though I customized it. I gave her a haircut too, mostly bc her tips were totally fried.

Sila Clops and 1-Eye

Novi Stars Sila Clops! I got her 2nd hand from a thrift store but she was brand new basically, with only some scuffs on her dress. Her eys doesn't shine anymore. I painted some parts and gave her a little bow but that's about it!

Pinty

A Estrela Pinty Model I got in perf condition! She came with a felt dress which was custom but that's totally fair bc she originally came with paper dresses for kids to paint. I did some border embroidery and some little details on it but I wasn't the one who made it. Fun fact, she's got the same body and face mold as Estrela's Strawberry Shortcake (Moranguinho) I think, but she's not part of the series! Her hair is super super soft too.

Izumi-chan

A Licca friend I got 2nd hand on the internet. She came with the Daiso kimono but I made her some accessories (hair bow, zori, kinchaku). I also touched up her eyes a little bc the paint was chipped. I think she's a candy shop assistant Izumi-chan!

Licca-chan

A Licca I bought 2nd hand too! She was kinda in bad shape when I got her (drawn on with pen, very yellowed) but I managed to fix! Her hair was pretty good though! I got her a daiso kimono too, so she'd match Izumi-chan. I've no idea what specific Licca she is but she's before the Takara x Tomy merge.

Sugar and Sweets

They're just LOL OMG Sweets and LOL Sugar. Sugar I got as a gift from an aunt, but Sweets I got 2nd hand from the internet in perfect condition.

Beryl

A little lovecore-y mermaid custom. She's a fakie barbie fairytale mini mermaid doll. I really liked the tail sculpt so I got her!

Marsha Mello

Shopkin Shoppies Marsha Mello! I originally wanted the Lil' Secrets version but it's impossible to find it in Brazil, but I found the core version for a good price, and it's pretty adorable too so I settled for that!

Unicorn Sprinkles

Fidgie Friends Unicorn Sprinkles! One of the few dolls I have I bought brand new. She was hard to find! I gave her one of my bead bracelets as a belt-thingy.
